All Insightful Products items are guaranteed to be free from material defect for 90 days. In addition, all Step Smart Brace for Drop Foot purchases are given a 10 day, no questions asked trial period. The customer has 10 days from the date the brace is delivered to determine if the Step Smart Brace will work for them by having it in hand, in their home to try out. If at anytime during the trial period the customer is not satisfied that the brace will work for them they can return it for a full refund of the cost of the brace along with any attached brace add on components.
Step-Smart: You have 10 days from the date you receive your Step-Smart to postmark a return.
Non Step-Smart Products: All other products are are non-returnable.
If you purchased your product from a retail store or another online retailer, and would like to return it for a refund or exchange it, please contact the reseller directly. We are not able to provide refunds or exchanges for products purchased from other retailers.
When we receive and accept your return we will refund the credit card that was used for payment of your original order. This typically takes 7 business days in the US, dependent on your bank/card issuer. Refunds will cover cost of your original purchase, excluding delivery charges. Once your return has been processed you will receive a refund confirmation email.
We do not take returns from orders sent outside of the USA.
Prior to mailing your brace back please call us for a Return Authorization number (RA#). This will insure the accurate tracking and refunding of your return once it reaches our facilities. Call 207-885-0414 Mon-Fri between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm Eastern time or Email “Request for RA#” along with your original order number to firstname.lastname@example.org to reach customer service and obtain an RA#.

Cost of Return Shipping
You are required to cover the costs of returning the goods to us. In case of faulty goods or incorrect delivery, we will assume all postal charges and replace or refund your item. We recommend retaining proof of your return in the event your package does not reach our warehouse as expected. It is always a good idea to insure shipments.
Repairs & Warranty Claims
In order to return a product for repair, please contact our Customer Service Department. Proof of purchase is required to ensure warranty eligibility for your product. Please see the FAQs for additional details and for information related to the Step Smart Brace Replacement Support Program.
