Ian here from Insightful. We’d like to introduce the Step-Smart Pro. The difference between the Step-Smart Pro and the regular Step-Smart is that the Step-Smart Pro comes with a Guided Calf Section. This goes on the medial side, so it keeps the calf section in alignment. You have the choice with the Step-Smart Pro of going with or without the I-strap and with or without the calf strap. We set up the Velcro on the back so that you can take the calf strap and put it at any level you want. Some of our patients have decided that they prefer the low position. Go ahead and feel free and I’d recommend cutting the calf strap once you’ve found the level you like. So, the I-strap is easily taken off with this 2mm wrench that comes with the Step-Smart Pro. It’s simply a 632 screw and comes right off. So the idea here is that if you need a cosmetic appearance, maybe you’re going out to dinner, you go without any straps. Maybe later you’re going to play tennis, and you’re going to want it more secure, so you want to have both straps, or maybe you’re just going out to the movies, and you just need the one strap.
